Mrs. Lowrey joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2013. She graduated from the University of Dallas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, continuing on to earn her Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration. Kimberly and her husband have five children, one daughter and four sons, all who have either attended or graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School. Kimberly enjoys quality time with her family and spends most of her weekends at the soccer fields.
Miss Madden joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2024. She is a native Houstonian. She has been a member of the St. Cecilia parish all her life and has been a small group leader in Lifeteen for several years. She attended St. Cecilia school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. She has 4 younger siblings (Joe Rick, Ben, Abby, and Charlie). She has been working with kids almost her whole life. She is also a cheer coach for St. Thomas High School. In her free time, she likes to cook, shop and hang out with her family and friends. She also owns her own online boutique called Let’s Sunday.
Mrs. Massiatte joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2018. Prior to that Mrs. Massiatte had eight years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston – Downtown. Recently, she received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of St. Thomas. Gina grew up attending private schools and is married to her high school sweetheart. They have three children.
Jeff Matthews became the Principal of St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2017. Jeff has over 20 years of teaching and education experience prior to joining St. Cecilia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Math / Spanish from West Virginia University, and a Masters Degree in International Education from Framingham State University. With over 20 years of experience in education, Jeff is a passionate advocate for student-centered approach to teaching and learning, developing caring communities of learners, and creating the schools our children deserve.
Mrs. Mejia joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2019. Prior to joining St. Cecilia, she had 26 years of experience in education. In addition to being the school’s new Learning Specialist she also helps with Bridges for 2nd Grade. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / Special Education from Marist College. Melissa is excited to be a part of St. Cecilia Catholic School after working in public schools for 26 years.
Mr. Charlie joined the staff of St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2020. Prior to joining us he worked at Crème de la Crème for 15 years. Through his tenure at Crème, Charlie worked with many age ranges of children. He was lead for the three’s, and four’s. He was also lead for the afterschool/summer camp programs working with the oldest group of children. Charlie found a love of working with children in high school through the ECP(Early Childhood Profession) program. He wanted to be an architect, but being recommended to the program changed his career path. Charlie enjoys reading and art. He could spend a day getting lost at a museum.
Mrs. Morton joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2020. Before that, she taught for six years in Catholic and public school education. Throughout the years, Mrs. Morton has taught PE, Pre-K 4, Kindergarten and was a Pre-K 3 Assistant. Mrs. Morton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from McNeese State University. She played Varsity Volleyball and Softball at St. Louis Catholic High School in Lake Charles, LA. She has four years of experience coaching girls’ softball within SBMSA ranging from 8U – 12U. Mrs. Morton has three children who all attend Catholic Schools, which include St. Thomas High School, St. Agnes Academy, and St. Cecilia.
