Technology
At St. Cecilia Catholic School, we want students to utilize technology as an essential tool in their learning process to be able to:
- Act morally and responsibly following the teachings of our Catholic faith
- Create and consume digital information thoughtfully and intelligently
- Communicate thoughts and ideas using a variety of digital media
- Innovate and think globally to solve problems
Embedded within our beliefs of teaching and learning with technology are four core principles based on the scripture from Matthew 7:12; “So always treat others as you would have them treat you; that is the Law and the Prophets.”
- Focus on Learning
- Respect Yourself
- Respect Others
- Respect Property
We strive to achieve these goals by using technology as a tool; keeping the learning goal at the forefront of every experience. Students participate in scheduled technology classes in PK3 – 8th grade. Additionally, technology-based middle school electives are offered such as multimedia and robotics.
