Mrs. Grannen joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana Bogotá, a Master’s Degree in Finance from Universidad de los Andes Bogotá, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from SUNY Albany. Maria Elena is originally from Colombia and has lived in Houston for nearly 30 years. She and her husband, Greg, have been parishioners of Saint Cecilia Catholic Church since 2003, and they have two sons studying at UT Austin. Mrs. Grannen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering at church. She is currently a member of the Life-Teen core team and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society – St. Cecilia Chapter.
Ms. Grobelny joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2003. She was originally with St. Cecilia from 1995 to 1997 before returning in 2003. She has over seventeen years in education. She has held both the positions of Secretary and Receptionist during her time at St. Cecilia. Adrianne’s two children are St. Cecilia Alumni – Allen-Michael, Class of 1999, and Lindsey, Class of 2012.
Mrs. Guerre joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2018. Prior to joining St. Cecilia, Mrs. Guerre had fourteen years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Elementary Ed / Special Ed) from Stephen F. Austin State University. Katy is a lifelong member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She enjoys spending time and traveling with her family.
Mrs. Heap joined the staff of St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Concordia University Texas. She comes to us with 8 years of experience in nursing. She and her husband Ted have 3 children- Paige, Carson and Caleb. She likes to spend her free time with family and friends and enjoys crocheting.
Mrs. Hernandez has been a part of the St. Cecilia Catholic School community since 2009. Her boys Daniel (Class of 2019) and Christian (Class of 2021) attended St. Cecilia since PreK. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s in Business Administration from Florida International University. This year will be her third year working at St. Cecilia, and she feels blessed to continue to be part of the community.
Ms. Hicks joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Environmental Science, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Alabama. In addition to teaching Pre-K, she also assists with the school’s Cheerleading team. Ms. Hicks enjoys being at St. Cecilia Catholic School with many members of her family!
Mrs. Hicks joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2012. Before joining the Community Engagement team, she was a teacher and a counselor at St. Cecilia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (Go Cajuns!) and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas. Tori’s family loves being active in both the school and parish communities. You can often find them traveling on family trips or at some sporting event. Tori has four children – Porter (Class of 2029), Miller (Class of 2031), Molly Jane (Class of 2033), and Hampton (fingers crossed for Class of 2037!)
Coach Inman joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2012 with 10 years of previous teaching experience. In addition to teaching 5th and 7th grade math, Coach Inman also coaches St. Cecilia girls basketball and boys baseball. He graduated from Texas A&M at Kingsville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. Chris and his wife April have two daughters, Maddie and Kylee, who currently attend St. Cecilia, following in their father’s footsteps. Chris is a proud St. Cecilia alum from the class of 1994.
Amy Javadi joined St. Cecilia Catholic School this year with 15 years of teaching experience. She has a Theology Degree from Texas Lutheran University and was a Youth Pastor for four years. She then decided to take her passion for teaching students into the education system. She is overjoyed to be a part of the St. Cecilia family and blessed to have her baby girl join the family as well in PreK4. Mrs. Javadi, along with her love of reading, is an avid dog lover, and enjoys training furbabies in her spare time. She has a black lab. She, her husband, Kevin, and her kids love spending time together watching movies when it rains and spending time outdoors at the ranch.
Mrs. Johnson originally joined the St. Cecilia Catholic School community in 1991, teaching 3rd grade for 6 years. She returned to teach 1st grade in 2007, with a total of 26 years in education. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from McNeese State University. Diana’s daughter, Amanda is an alumnus of St. Cecilia, class of 2016.
