HSA

All parents of St. Cecilia Catholic School students are automatically members of the Home and School Association (HSA). The HSA is a parent-volunteer organization that promotes a closer relationship between parents and teachers. The HSA supports the school via various committees and events, including Field Day, Read-A-Thon and Astronomy Night. As a St. Cecilia parent and member of the HSA, you are a voice for our students. You are their best advocates.

The HSA typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:30 AM. Please confirm dates via the St. Cecilia Catholic School Website Calendar. The HSA will conduct in person meetings that will be recorded. Please come as you are. Baseball caps and work-out gear welcome!

Please consider volunteering on an HSA committee. The volunteer committees are the lifeblood of the HSA. All HSA committees welcome new volunteers and have leadership opportunities available. The HSA appreciates the help and efforts of all volunteers, no matter how much time and service you can give.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

On behalf of the HSA, I welcome all returning and new St. Cecilia families. I know how excited we are to begin a new school year.

I also welcome each of our new families. We are grateful you joined the St. Cecilia community. I am excited to meet you in the days to come! I am privileged to introduce the HSA Executive Board for 2023-2024. These amazing ladies include Sara House and Karen Billnoske.

Stefanie Lyons:

Stefanie and her husband Aaron have three children at St. Cecilia. Their oldest, Sutton, is a rising third-grader, while their twin daughters, Shaefer and Sullivan, are about to embark on their Kindergarten journey. Stefanie’s commitment to both her faith and the school community is evident through her active involvement as a parishioner and her participation in GEMs, Teacher Appreciation Committee, Auction Committee, as well as serving as a Room Parent for the past three years. She finds passion in volunteering and supporting the St. Cecilia faculty and staff through HSA.

Sara House:

Sara and Randall House have two children at St. Cecilia, a son Jackson entering second grade and a daughter Avery entering Kindergarten. Along with being an active parishioner, Sara has loved being a room parent for the last two years. She can’t wait to continue to foster and strengthen the relationship between the families and the school through the HSA this upcoming year!

Karen Billnoske:

The Billnoske family joined Saint Cecilia just last year in 2022. Her children, Zachary (Class of 2028), Penelope (Class of 2030), and Elijah (Class of 2032) LOVE being a part of this amazing school and welcoming community. Karen grew up in Katy, Texas and is an alumni of University of Texas at Austin.
