Gather and Grow Open Space Campaign: By supporting the Gather and Grow initiative, you are investing in the future of St. Cecilia, helping to create a campus where students continue to thrive academically, physically, and socially. Annual Fund: The Annual Fund helps to sustain operating expenses and enhances the programs and services offered to students and faculty. Our Annual Fund is necessary to sustain the life of the school through enriched academic programs, faculty development, enhancements to technology, and campus improvements. You can make a gift online to support the Annual Fund and the mission of St. Cecilia Catholic School.

Events: Throughout the year, St. Cecilia Catholic School sponsors various fundraising events to benefit the school. Our largest event is the annual Auction. Other fundraising events include the annual Dad’s Softball Tournament, Steps for Students, and also the HSA Field Day.

Matching Gifts: Many companies and organizations match charitable contributions to non-profit institutions like St. Cecilia Catholic School. If you have questions on Matching Gifts please contact the Office of Community Engagement.

Memorial and Honorary: Gifts can be made in honor or memory of individuals. You can select whether you want to make a memorial or honorary gift on our online donation form. Gifts can also be made in memory or honor of individuals through contacting the Office of Community Engagement.

Securities: You can make a gift of securities through your broker. A form needs to be submitted to the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and the school in order for the sale of securities as well as proper tracking of gifts of securities. Please contact the Office of Community Engagement for the current securities form. For tax purposes, the value of the gift is recorded as the average market value on the date of delivery (or if mailed, on the postmark date). If transferred through a broker, the gift’s value is determined by the date of transfer as recorded in the books of the corporation.

Planned Giving: Remembering St. Cecilia Catholic School in your will is a special and effective way to ensure that the ideals you value will be perpetuated.  It also reduces the taxable portion of your estate.

Gifts-In-Kind: Non-cash gifts of property such as computers, books, scientific equipment, art materials also make important gifts.  The fair market value of such items is deductible for income tax purposes.  A formal appraisal is required by the IRS for gifts in kind valued at over $5,000.
