Mrs. Mandola joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2015. After concluding her 21st year in the classroom, Mrs. Mandola is now our Associate Director of Enrollment Management. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Outside of work, she is a wife and mother of triplet boys who currently attend St. Cecilia Catholic School. Carol enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going out to dinner, and relaxing on the beach!

Ms. Marte joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2020. She comes to St. Cecilia with five years of experience in education having most recently taught PK4 at Christ The Redeemer, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in History and a minor in English from the University of Houston. Aimee sings with her church choir and the Houston Choral Society. A novice gardener, she enjoys spending spare time with her family.

Vivian joined the staff of St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2021. She comes to St. Cecilia with 5 years of experience in education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education-6 grade from the University of Houston Downtown. She has taught 3rd grade in Aldine ISD and also worked at St Anne’s Catholic School for 4 years in the aftercare program with PK3. “I enjoy teaching and working with children. It brings me great joy to work in a Catholic school and continue to grow in my faith everyday.”

Mrs. Massiatte joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2018. Prior to that Mrs. Massiatte had eight years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston – Downtown. Gina grew up attending private schools, and is married to her high school sweetheart, they have three children.

Jeff Matthews became the Principal of St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2017. Jeff has over 20 years of teaching and education experience prior to joining St. Cecilia. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Math / Spanish from West Virginia University, and a Masters Degree in International Education from Framingham State University. With over 20 years of experience in education, Jeff is a passionate advocate for student-centered approach to teaching and learning, developing caring communities of learners, and creating the schools our children deserve.

Mrs. Mejia joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2019. Prior to joining St. Cecilia, she had 26 years of experience in education. In addition to being the school’s new Learning Specialist she also helps with Bridges for 2nd Grade. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / Special Education from Marist College. Melissa is excited to be a part of St. Cecilia Catholic School after working in public schools for 26 years.

Charlie was introduced to early childhood education through a program in high school. He has enjoyed having worked both preschool and school aged children while during his 15 year tenure at Créme de la Créme.

Sr. Bernadette joined St. Cecilia Catholic School in 2016. Prior to that Sr. Bernadette had six years of experience in education. In addition to fulfilling her role in Curriculum and Instruction Support, she also works with the ELA Committee and the Faith in Action Committee. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas, and also a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. Sr. Bernadette is a Dominican Sister from Mary Immaculate Province. She has a passion for learning new things and supporting teachers. Next summer she will celebrate her silver jubilee of religions vows.
