We are excited to host our annual St. Cecilia Catholic School Grandparents and Special Friends Day in person on campus again this year. It will be on Friday, February 11th from 12:30PM to 2:30PM.
Invitations are being printed and mailed to grandparents that we have addresses for from the enrollment / re-enrollment process. The event will include an opportunity for Grandparents and Special Friends to visit classrooms, as well as a presentation in the Auditorium. Please see the detailed schedule below.
Also, please note that if a grandparent is unable to attend, a special friend (i.e. an aunt, uncle, family friend) is welcome to attend in their place. We do kindly ask that parents and siblings not attend as special guests. If a grandparent or special guest needs assistance, we understand that accompaniment may be necessary by a parent.
In order to protect the health and safety of our guests and students, we will have two separate schedules for Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Your schedule will be dependent on your Grandchild’s Last Name. Please note that masks are required for all Visitors on Campus. Students can be dismissed with their Grandparents at 2:30PM on the day of the event.
Group A – Student Last Name Beginning with Letters A-K
12:30PM: Grandparents / Special Friends Arrive in the Auditorium
12:45PM: Welcome from Principal Jeff Matthews, Student Presentation, Reception
1:30PM – 2:30PM: Classroom Visits with Your Grandchild(ren)
* If you are visiting more than one Grandchild, please plan on splitting up your time in each child’s homeroom.
Group B – Student Last Name Beginning with Letters L-Z
12:30PM: Grandparents / Special Friends Arrive and Head to Classrooms.
12:30PM – 1:30PM: Classroom Visits with Your Grandchild(ren)
* If you are visiting more than one Grandchild, please plan on splitting up your time in each child’s homeroom.
1:45PM – 2:15PM: Welcome from Principal Jeff Matthews, Student Presentation, Reception
