Continuity of Learning Schedule – May 18th – May 22nd
The schedule for next week will continue to be the same Continuity of Learning schedule. Individual teachers and/or grade levels will communicate any altered schedule of classes or meetings.
PK3 – 7th Grade Material Return
St. Cecilia has put a plan together for dropping off school materials and for picking up remaining personal items from the school. This plan is guided by current social distancing recommendations for schools in the State of Texas.
St. Cecilia Faculty members will be gathering student belongings left in the classrooms and lockers and putting the items in paper bags (one per student) that will be taken to either the auditorium or the gym for pickup. The student’s last name will determine the day and location for pickup (please see the schedule below).
To help enable your preparation for pick up and drop off, we have prepared this Student Material Collection Checklist – May 2020, so you may have a good handle on what needs to be returned.
Chromebook and Loaned Devices Summer Plans
As the school year ends, we are pleased to allow our 4th – 7th (rising 5th – 8th) grade returning students to keep their school-issued Chromebooks for their learning over the summer. Additionally, any returning students with loaned devices may keep them over the summer. Click here for a quick care and use guide and learn more here.
Schedule, Protocols, and Expectations
We are operating under the recommendation from the Texas Education Agency regarding access to our campus. Therefore we have created a sign-up-genius for you to sign up for a specific time to come to school to drop off and pick up items. Please follow current social distancing guidelines. Please be conscientious of others: If you have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 or are currently ill please do not come to campus. We will keep your child’s belongings to pick up at a later date.
Please note – only one parent from each family – will be allowed to enter the auditorium or the gym to drop off any school items currently at home and pick up any personal belongings that were left at school. Per Archdiocesan recommendations, no students are allowed on the school campus for this event.
Auditorium: Please enter through the auditorium doors facing the church parking lot. This will be the only entry and exit.
Gym: Please enter through the side gate walkway from the front school parking lot.
